An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Hodge Hill. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is eager to support and inspire young learners on their educational journey.
 
*** Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant
*** Ward of Hodge Hill
*** £70 - £80 per day (6 hours per day)
*** Immediate start until July 2024
*** 1:1 and small group support in KS1

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support the learning and development of primary-aged children. Your responsibilities will include assisting in lesson preparation, providing one-to-one support, leading small group activities, and helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
 
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Education or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
  • Passionate about education and supporting the academic and social development of young learners
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
  • Commitment to upholding safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
