Are you passionate about helping young learners achieve academic success? Do you have a strong desire to support Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their SATs examinations? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!
 
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated KS2 Academic Coach to join an 'Outstanding' primary school in Yardley. In this role, you will provide crucial support to Year 6 pupils, helping them prepare for their SATs exams and ensuring they reach their full potential.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide focused academic support to Year 6 pupils preparing for SATs examinations.
  • Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to address specific learning needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, teachers, and parents.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost student confidence and performance.
 
Requirements:
  • Experience working with KS2 pupils, particularly in preparation for SATs.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a supportive approach to teaching.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
