The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with KS2 pupils, providing targeted intervention support in literacy and numeracy. You will assist with lesson delivery, work with small groups to reinforce learning, and offer 1:1 support to pupils who need additional guidance. This role will also involve helping to manage classroom behaviour and encouraging pupils to develop confidence in their abilities.
 
The Candidate
This role is ideal for a graduate who is considering a career in teaching and wants to build practical experience in a primary school setting. You should be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to engage with children in a supportive manner. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential. Previous experience working with children, whether through tutoring, mentoring, or voluntary work, would be beneficial.
